Rumman Raees has been appointed as vice Captain of Islamabad United team in Pakistan Super League (PSL) 3 2018 season. Rumman Raees who is part of Pakistan Cricket Team in ODI & T20 format has lot of success in quick succession. He already played previous two PSL seasons 2016 & 2017 for Islamabad United and now team management decide that he got enough abilities to lead the team as vice-captain. Currently Misbah ul Haq is the captain of Islamabad United cricket team. Islamabad United already became the champion of Pakistan Super League (PSL) T20 in 2016, it was the first season of this mega event.
Another announcement was made by Islamabad United (IU) cricket team in PSL 3 2018 is that Saeed Ajmal who represents the team in previous two editions (PSL 2016 & 2017) now has been appointed as spin bowling coach. Saeed Ajmal got plenty of experience in T20 cricket and he represents the team Pakistan in all three format of game. He was also the world best bowler in ICC ranking in all three format of game during his presence in International cricket.
In PSL 3 2018 Islamabad United already make agreement with great Waqae Younis as team director when Wasim Akram leave the Islamabad United team and now he joined Multan Sultan new franchise in this edition. Dean Jones will be head coach of Islamabad United cricket team. Islamabad United team will be complete after PSL 2018 draft which is be completed on 12 November 2017 at Qaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
